Requirement Statement – Metal Seated Valves for Sewage Sludge & Biogas (BS Standard)
We require the supply and installation of Metal Seated Valves compliant with BS 5163 / BS EN 1074 for the isolation of sewage sludge and biogas lines as part of the local sewage treatment works upgrade.
Valves must be suitable for abrasive slurry and gas-tight service, flanged to EN 1092-2 PN10/PN16, epoxy-coated for wastewater duty, and available with manual or actuated operation as specified. All valves shall be new, fully tested to BS EN 12266, and supplied with material certifications and O&M manuals.
Factory witness testing shall be carried out for all hydraulic tests. Valves must meet the leakage performance requirements defined in the relevant BS test methods, demonstrating zero leakage or an approved high-integrity leakage standard, as applicable.
